Apex LD3249
$350.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Excellent price for a 32-inch TV - provides excellent widescreen HD support at a cost comparable to smaller, lower-quality screens. Standard definition content up-conversion is excellent - instantly optimizes standard cable content for best possible playback within the unit's parameters. Ideal for playing back content from a computer source via VGA connectivity - plays back applicable content at full 1080p HD resolution.
The Cons:Remote control component is poorly constructed - matte finish is indicative of poor craftsmanship, with sharp edges causing user pain/discomfort. Unit is not compatible with universal remote codes - severely limits home theater integration unless the user owns a specialized "learning remote". Mounting bracket spacing is awkwardly sized - doesn't comfortably fit the stock 32" mounting bracket, forcing users to purchase a separate mounting unit of the right size.
The Apex LD3249 is a high definition television that's sleek and ideal for any room in the household. the 32-inch HD LCD widescreen display is vivid and attractive making it ideal for movies, HD television programming and video game systems such as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
