Coby TFTV1913

$220.00 Released August, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:TV tuner gives a clean, sharp image. Matte finish does a great job eliminating glare.

The Cons:Can't usually find a code for it for most universal remotes. Aspect ratio is 16:10, makes widescreen movies look a little stretched. Tuner tends to scan digital cable channels out of order.

The Coby TFTV1913 is an entry-level flat-screen LCD HDTV with identical features to the smaller TFTV1514. It has a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The pixel response time is 6 ms and contrast ratio is 500:1.

It has both ATSC and NTSC tuners and uses 3D digital comb filter and noise reduction. It has built-in 5 watt speakers as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. It has RCA component video and composite video inputs, as well as an S-Video input, but does not have an HDMI input. The TFTV1514 can also function as a computer monitor because it comes with a 15-pin PC VGA connector. The TFTV1514 has since been replaced in Coby's lineup by the TFTV1923
