The JVC LT42P789 is a 42" widescreen LCD TV with full 1080p resolution and upconversion. It has a 13,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio with 500 cd/m2 brightness and 176 degree viewing for an easy to see, high quality picture.

JVCs new feature "TeleDock" is a built in iPod dock that will automatically upconvert content to 1080p during playback. There are plenty of inputs including three HDMI, USB photo viewer and two component video inputs for maximum connectivity, and there is also a built in ATSC tuner. A 6.5 ms response speed helps give a better picture with MPEG video noise reduction and digital video noise reduction that reduces image artifacts often seen in DVDs or digital TV channels. Other features include digital 5 point color management, several HD and 4:3 aspect modes, natural cinema and timer/auto shut-off. The JVC LT42P789 comes with a remote control.
