The LG LH55 Series is a Full 1080p LCD HDTV series from LG's 2009 lineup. The series is designed with a sleek panel and an invisible speaker system for a slim silhouette. It is more advanced than LG's LH50 series since although it lacks the ethernet connectivity of the LH50 series, it features a LG's advanced TruMotion 240Hz technology.

The technology is used along with a scanning backlight and LG's Super In-Plane Switching technology to eliminate motion blur and provide ultra-fast motion picture response times. The LH55 Series includes four HDMI inputs and a USB port for access to digital music and photos. It is also Energy Star 3.0 compliant and has an intelligent room lighting sensor for higher energy conservation. The series is comprised of screen sizes ranging from 37" to 55" and is expected to be released in March 2009.
