Samsung LN22A450

$480.00 Released March, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Built-in tuner provides quick access to over-the-air HD channels - especially beneficial to those who do not own a dedicated cable or satellite box. Excellent picture quality - color balance and clarity are exceptional with minimal blurring and pixelation. LCD technology ensures low energy expenditure - unit is eco-friendly and does not overheat throughout extensive use.

The Cons:Limited connectivity options - single HDMI output and VGA-only (no DVI) input makes external routing difficult. SRS digital surround sound is of fairly low quality - tends to reproduce audio in a spread-out, difficult-to-hear fashion. Remote control is awkwardly arranged and difficult to use - channel and volume buttons are somewhat out of the way, at the bottom of the unit.

The 4 series, also known as the 450 series, comprise the value-priced line of Samsung's 2008 LCD televisions. For more information refer to the Samsung 4 Series report.
