The Pros:Picture quality is fantastic - clarity, detailing and color balance provide beautiful, vivid visuals. Side-mounted HDMI input enables quick connectivity of external devices - compatible laptops and network share devices can be accessed without having to reach the rear of the TV. Built-in screen fan is excellent - provides effective system cooling and is virtually inaudible even when audio is muted.
The Cons:Glossy "Piano Black" finish is prone to reflection issues - not recommended for placement in rooms with a large amount of natural light during the day. Unit finish is also prone to dust and fingerprints - requires cleaning on a regular weekly basis at minimum.

#samsung_ln40a650 Great visual quality, however be aware of possible defect! The cabinet frame of mine (the beautiful plastic red bevel that frames the viewing area) came off after a months use! And samsung has been unacceptably slow in dealing with it...
