Samsung LN40B630

$1,400.00 Released May, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Anti-glare screen design is highly effective - unit is capable of blocking out high levels of both artificial and natural light. High viewing angle features minimal off-axis coloration - TV maintains accurate hues and only slightly diminishes in terms of contrast and brightness. Color quality is distinctive and vibrant - Wide Color Enhancer 3 technology provides vivid, true-to-life hue reproduction.

The Cons:Physical power/channel/volume buttons on the unit itself and very difficult to see - virtually impossible to locate in low-light environments. Advanced processing settings may hinder "cinematic experience" amongst film viewing - users may find themselves having to adjust brightness/contrast/Auto Motion Plus controls at length.

The Samsung LN40B630 is a 40" high definition LCD TV from Samsung's high-end 6 Series.  The TV features a native resolution of 1080p, dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1, and auto motion plus 120Hz technology.
