Samsung LN52B530

$1,799.00 Released March, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:60Hz image processing provides excellent, artifact-free picture - works especially well on live sports and action content with minimal differences to 120Hz processing. Excellent 1080p HD picture quality - color contrast is considerably clear, with bold black levels and vivid, distinguished hues.

The Cons:Unit does not provide a dedicate optical input - may cause difficulties amongst users without HDMI-compatible devices. Gloss black bezel is seemingly prone to glare issues - users with rooms that encounter a lot of natural light may wish to seek a less-reflective unit. Built-in speakers are of fairly poor quality - audio outputting severely lacks low-end presence and has a relatively low maximum volume level.

The Samsung LN52B530 is a 52" high definition LCD TV from Samsung's mid-range 5 Series.  The TV features a native resolution of 1080p, dynamic contrast ratio of 60,000:1, and a 6ms response time.
