Sharp AQUOS D85U Series

Released October, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:1080p, 120Hz. Good amount and variety of inputs. Good contrast and brightness values.

The Cons:Expensive.

The AQUOS D85U Series from Sharp is their Fall 2008 line that brings the premium features of 120Hz and motion compensation technology into a more budget friendly price. The premium features indicate the D85Us are an upgrade to their D74U counterparts, however not all the specs have seen a boost as the dynamic contrast ratio on the 74U Series is a higher 17,000:1 compared to the D85Us 10,000:1.
