Sharp Aquos LC-32D47UT
$390.00
Released August, 2009
The Pros:Color reproduction is excellent - hues are sharp and distinct, with exceptional clarity amongst skin tones and nature footage. Unit stand is reinforced with metal for increased durability - much preferred to many of the plastic-only stands seen within competitor models. External connectivity is diverse and easy to configure - DVDs, VCRs, computers and network share devices are fully supported.
The Cons:Stock sound outputting is relatively poor - audio is "tinny" and appears to fluctuate in pitch at higher volume levels. Requires a considerable amount of control adjustment to attain suitable picture settings - users will likely be required to spend several hours fine-tuning parameters. Energy-saving settings are admirable but ultimately detrimental - seemingly prone to dark, "muddy" picture quality with settings enabled.
