Sharp Aquos LC-32D59U

The Aquos LC-32D59U is a 32" LCD home television from Sharp set for release in spring of 2011 along with the 42" Aquos LC-42D69U. Both have an internal media player and USB input for viewing video and photos or playing music, and ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners let you access both DTV and analog stations.

This model features a true 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio with 1366 x 768 HDTV resolution, compared to the Full HD 1080p(1920 x 1080) resolution in the 42" model, and also has a four pin S-Video input which that model does not. Otherwise the feature list is almost the same with 4 HDMI inputs(1080p compatible in the 42" case), 2 HD Component inputs, 1 Composite Video input, Stereo RCA audio inputs and a PC input for connecting to a computer. Location of the HDMI inputs is different on this model with two on the back and two on the side for easy access. The cabinet is made with a high gloss black finish and comes with both remote control and table stand that can be removed when hanging the tv on a wall. Optical picture control or OPC is a feature common to both that will automatically adjust the display brightness according to the amount of ambient light in the room. They have also been made to provide high brightness, high contrast and a wide viewing angle and therefore can be used in bright environments without detriment to picture brightness.
