Released June, 2009
The Pros:Easy to set up, everything is pretty obvious. Good range of connections that can connect to almost anything. Tuner is capable of pulling in all available channels in almost every market.
The Cons:Severe image lag when something moves quickly, lots of blur. Speakers are a bit tinny sounding and can't get very loud. Colors are prone to being overly vibrant, subtle shades get lost.

It utilizes Enhanced Picture Contrast technology to provide deeper blacks and brighter whites and has high brightness to display images clearly, even in direct light. The slim, compact design of the unit makes it versatile for using in any room and the PC input allows it to be used as a computer monitor. The LC-26SB27UT includes a built-in digital tuner and is an upgrade to the LC-22SB27UT since it has more powerful 5-watt stereo speakers. Like the LC-22SB27UT, it offers HD component, HDMI, and composite connectivity but includes an extra HDMI and composite port and also has S-Video connectivity which the LC-22SB27UT lacks.
