I love the fact that it is huge! It looked really good on display in Best Buy, but there are some things about it that I don't understand:

a. I use it with my computer. I have an ATI x850 AGP card(somewhat outdated) in XP, and the signal is coming from one of those DVI(PC) to HDMI(HDMI 1 on the Sony) cables  and for some reason the visible area is about 1/4" too far to the right so that it's getting cut off. Meanwhile there is an extra 1/4" on the left that is not getting used. Annoying but picky, I know.

b. I had to do a decent bit of tweaking to get the the Sony from zooming in automatically on the HDMI input, so that the entire visible area would fit on the screen.

c. There is some weird automatic setting that makes the brightness fluctuate depending on the HDMI input being received by the TV. I, for the life of me can't figure out how to turn it off. I've been through all the menu settings! It's really annoying when I'm watching a DVD on my computer because it never makes it brighter, it always DIMs the picture.
