Sony Bravia KDL-32N4000
$749.00
Released April, 2008
The Pros:Remote control buttons are easy to find in the dark, intuitive design with distinctive button shapes for different functions. Menus and hardware design user friendly enough that the manual is unnecessary, even for fine-tuning. Upscales SD and DVD content gracefully, with no obvious fuzziness or motion blur.
The Cons:Ships in a store display mode that is far too bright, needs tweaking to be comfortable. Integrated 5.1 surround sound is ok, but doesn't have near the power of separate surround sound home theater systems. While instructions are unnecessary, the instructions that are supplied are very confusing and actually make setup more difficult.
The N series from Sony is part of their 2008 lineup of LCD televisions and is targeted towards the audiophile and gamer individuals with an integrated 5.1 audio setup and 720p native resolution. For more information refer to the full Bravia N4000 series report.
