Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S5100

$1,000.00 Released March, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Wide variety of inputs, including 3 HDMI and standard VGA. Works well with gaming consoles, no noticeable lag. Menu options are clear and easy to read.

The Cons:The auto-dimming feature tends to over-react, needs a firmware update to behave properly. Need a PC to get a copy of the latest firmware - won't work through a Mac. At low volume the sound quality is poor, everything is unintelligible - need to turn it up for the quality to be cleaned up.

The KDL-32S5100 is the 32" version of the S5100 Series, Sony's entry-level 1080p line of HDTVs introduced in 2009. For more information refer to the full S5100 Series report.
