Sony BRAVIA KDL-46V3000
$2,300.00
Released April, 2005
The Pros:Setup is very simple, don't need a technician present even if you're entry-level. Effectively fights glare, works well in a sunny room. Sleek design uses a uniform, simple bezel that compliments the room nicely.
The Cons:Remote is difficult to use in the dark, hard to even tell which end is up. Can't remove unwanted channels when scrolling through them. Only has the 2 HDMI, which can be used up fairly quickly.
The Sony BRAVIA KDL-46V3000 is a 46” full HD 1080p LCD television part of Sony’s BRAVIA V series. It supports 1920x1080p resolution with over 2 million pixels, which is in fact double the amount offered by a conventional 720p set.

This is due to the built-in BRAVIA Engine EX Full Digital Video Processor, which allows for 10-bit processing and 10-bit display. The result is an advanced HDTV system with a 13000:1 dynamic contrast for deep colors, blacks, and whites; True Cinema for correctly translating 24p digital cable and Blu-ray disc content; and Sony’s Digital Media Extender (Dmex), which allows the unit to connect to a wide-array of optional modules like the BRAVIA Internet Video Link. Note also that it hosts plenty of built-in connectivity as well, including Composite, Component, HDMI, and PC.
