Sony BRAVIA KDL-46VL160

$2,000.00 Released May, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Sports play back sharp and clear, no blur or lost frames. Streams media from networked devices smoothly, makes compressed files look good. 24p format makes Blu-ray movies look stunning, excellent detail and gorgeous colors.

The Cons:Blacks tend to get a bit muddy, darker scenes are a bit difficult to watch sometimes. Need to make sure you turn off MotionFlow for anything but sports - makes things look strange.

The Sony BRAVIA KDL-46VL160 is a 46” high-definition LCD television featuring a 16:9 full HD 1080p resolution panel. It utilizes MotionFlow 120Hz technology to double the frames of incoming video content, which reduces blurriness and results in a smoother, more fluid experience.

Included also is 24p True Cinema, which means 24fps content — such as from a Blu-ray disc — can be viewed in their original format; this in turn means it’ll look better on the screen. The unit is also DLNA compliant, which allows it to access digital photos from DLNA-enabled PCs and/or other devices. Overall, the BRAVIA KDL-46VL160 is an advanced HDTV built for reduced noise, enhanced image detail, and superior contrast.
