Sony Bravia N4000 Series

Released April, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Integrated 5.1 audio setup.

The Cons:A lot of noise in the picture and the sound is not good in SD looks terrible. 720p native resolution.

The N series from Sony is part of their 2008 lineup of LCD televisions and is targeted towards the audiophile and gamer individuals. Sony sacrifices picture quality, going with a 720p native display versus 1080p, and compensates with an integrated 5.1 speaker setup including subwoofer.

Sony also expands the capabilities of the television with its Digital Media Port (DMP) which lets you connect digital media players, specifically iPods and Sony Walkmen, to play the content directly on your television. The N series falls close to the W4100 series of televisions that contain a 1080p native resolution, but lack the advanced surround sound. Below the N series is the M series of televisions which feature 720p native resolution and lack the surround sound setup.
