Vizio VOJ320M

$499.99 Released February, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Fantastic price for a full 1080p HD TV - virtually unparalleled at the price point, especially considering the versatile connectivity options and A/V capabilities. Equalizer function is very important, especially for users using the TV as a standalone - experienced users will likely be able to get the stock audio outputting to a reasonable set of parameters. Large amount of external connectivity ports enable users to setup a full entertainment system - TV can support a video game console, Blu-Ray disc player and fully-featured speaker set simultaneously.

The Cons:Built-in speakers are fairly poor - sound is muddy and prone to harsh treble overtones, with minimal bass presence and boomy mids. Seemingly prone to blurring/pixelation issues amongst fast-paced material - live sports and action content (movies, video games) are fairly disappointing. Some users may encounter a persistent screen flickering issue within the first few weeks of use - TV must either be returned or carefully adjusted within the software control panel to fix.

The Vizio VOJ320M is a lower mid-cost thirty-two inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. A trio of HDMI inputs allows for connection to Blu-Ray players and gaming consoles. To help ensure quality built-in sound, the VOJ320M is equipped with SRS TruSurround HD, which comes out of a pair of ten watt speakers.

In case you are concerned about keeping your energy costs down, this model meets and exceeds Energy Star 3.0 guidelines. This model differs from the higher cost E321VA thirty-two inch model in that it lacks the TruVolume audio-balancing feature, has a slower response time (6.5 milliseconds as opposed to the E321VA model's 5 millisecond response time), and lacks the E321VA's 3D comb filter, which serves to reduce artifacts like dot crawl.
