Like the VK-47130S, it features 1080p native resolution but differs with the 2008 model since it has a 120 Hz panel for a faster refresh rate and to complete the high definition experience. The panel also includes DayBright technology to ensure a clear picture during both day and nighttime viewing. The VK-47F140S has a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and a response time of 6.5 ms which is an improvement compared to the 8 ms response time of the VK-47F130S. It is equipped with an ATSC, NTSC, CATV, and Clear QAM TV tuner and a range of inputs including HDMI, Component, Composite, VGA, and SPDIF. The VK-47F140S is expected to be released in April 2009.
